UNION DICON SALT PLC announced today that in a continuation of its strategic plan to become a fully integrated Agro Industrial Company, it has signed a Heads of Agreement with PNG Gas located in Delta State for the supply of gas to its proposed starch processing plant in Umutu, Delta State. The Company also noted that it is in the final stages of negotiations to acquire the 2nd largest rice farm in Nigeria.

TRIPPLE GEE & COMPANY PLC released its audited result for the year ended 31st March, 2016 after the close of trading last Friday with the result showing the Revenue of the Company increased from N777.1m in 2015 to N806.4m. The Profit before Taxation of the Company however declined from N53.9m to N36.9m due to higher Distribution and Administrative Expenses. The Profit after Taxation also declined from N40.8m to N27.7m. The Director of the Company recommended a dividend of 3 kobo per share (2015: 4 kobo) subject to the approval of the shareholders of the Company at its next Annual General Meeting.
