OANDO PLC announced today that it expects to report materially lower earnings for the 2nd Quarter of 2016 due to the impact of the Naira devaluation against the US dollar resulting in unrealized foreign exchange losses. The result showed its Revenue increased by 12.4% to N32.3bn, while its Profit after Taxation increased by 1,178% to N1.1bn due largely to a N714m (44.4%) reduction in its Finance Cost. The EPS of the Company also increased to 29 kobo from 2 kobo.

PHARMA DEKO PLC released its result for the half year ended 30th June, 2016 after the close of trading last Friday which showed the Turnover of the Company declined by 54.6% to N379.4m. The Company made a Loss after Tax of N138m relative to a profit of N140.9m made in 2015 as a result of the lower Turnover and higher Administrative Expenses. By this result, the EPS of the Company stood at negative 63.63 kobo per share (2015: 107 kobo).
