ECOBANK TRANSNATIONAL INCORPORATED (ETI) – Retirement of Deputy CEO
ETI, the parent Company of Ecobank Nigeria, has announced that its Deputy Chief Executive Officer, Eveline Tall Daouda, will proceed on early retirement on 31st January, 2017. She joined the Ecobank Group in 1998 after working with Citibank for 17 years.
STANBIC IBTC HOLDINGS PLC – Resignation of CEO
Stanbic IBTC Holdings Plc. also announced the resignation of the Chief Executive (CE) of the Group, Mrs Sola David-Borha, with effect from 19th January, 2017. Consequently, Mr. Yinka Sanni, the CE of Stanbic IBTC Bank Plc. (a subsidiary of the Group), has been appointed in her stead.
Following her resignation, Sola David-Borha has taken up a new role as the Chief Executive (Rest of Africa) at Standard Bank Group, South Africa. Dr. Demola Sogunle, the current Deputy CE at Stanbic IBTC Bank Plc, has assumed the role of CE of the Bank following Yinka Sanni’s appointment.
